Research Ethics & Informed Consent Policy

IASR Multidisciplinary Journal is committed to maintaining high standards of ethical conduct in research and publication. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their research complies with applicable ethical standards and institutional or regulatory requirements.

Research involving human participants must receive approval from an appropriate Research Ethics Committee, Institutional Review Board (IRB), or equivalent body, where required. The manuscript should include the name of the approving body and approval/reference number, where applicable.

Informed consent should be obtained from participants when required. For case reports, clinical images, or other material containing potentially identifiable information, appropriate consent for publication must be obtained where applicable. Authors must protect the privacy and confidentiality of participants and should not include unnecessary identifying information.

Research involving animals should comply with relevant institutional and national ethical requirements and appropriate animal welfare standards.

Where ethical approval or informed consent is not applicable, authors should state this clearly in the manuscript. The journal may request evidence of ethical approval or consent when necessary.

The responsibility for ethical approval, informed consent, and the integrity of the research remains with the authors. Manuscripts that do not meet applicable ethical requirements may be rejected or subject to appropriate post-publication action.
